Terms of Service
Rules and operating conditions for using DeviceInfo.
- Lawful diagnostic use. DeviceInfo is a device diagnostics and hardware information app. By using it, you agree to use it for lawful, non-abusive diagnostic purposes only.
- Best-effort accuracy. Hardware, thermal, network, battery, sensor, camera, and package details are gathered from Android system APIs, local databases, and on-device probes. Output can differ by OEM, firmware, region, permissions, and hardware access.
- Security audit scope. The Apps workspace includes Hidden Apps and a local App Security Audit. Those results are heuristic reviews of package metadata and permissions, not guaranteed malware verdicts.
- Ad-supported experience. The app may display Google AdMob native ads in selected screens and occasional app-open ads after longer background inactivity. Those placements are part of the supported app experience and do not change the diagnostic nature of the app.
- Testing responsibility. Testing features such as microphone, vibration, flashlight, speaker, and sensor tools are provided for device verification. You are responsible for using them safely and with awareness of battery, heat, and sound exposure.
- External destinations. The app may open external destinations only when you explicitly choose them, including Telegram, email, Play Store pages, website legal pages, and the public IP lookup endpoint.
- No warranty. No warranty is provided for perfect accuracy, uptime, compatibility, or suitability for a particular use case. Device information is best-effort and may be inferred when OEMs do not expose exact values.
- Updates. These terms may be updated in later app releases and on the public legal site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
