TempMail Privacy Policy

1. Data processed

The app may process generated mailbox addresses, mailbox IDs, selected preferences, and cached message metadata/content required for core functionality.

2. Storage

Local settings and mailbox data are stored on-device using app-local storage. This data remains on your device until removed by reset, uninstall, or mailbox deletion.

3. Third-party processing

Email transport and mailbox backend operations are handled by the VKRM mail API. Its infrastructure and retention policies apply to transmitted and stored messages.

4. Notifications

If enabled, notification services may process minimal message preview details to display incoming mail alerts on your device.

5. Analytics and crash logs

If telemetry integrations are enabled in build configuration, anonymized diagnostic events may be collected to improve reliability and performance.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with required service processors for app operation, such as API hosts, notification transport, or crash reporting.

7. Security

Reasonable safeguards are applied, but no internet-connected system is fully secure. Do not rely on temporary mail for confidential or regulated data.

8. Your controls

You can delete mailboxes, clear app data, disable notifications, and reset local storage from app settings.

9. Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. Updated versions are shown in-app.
